 Katherine Rooney, daughter of John Rooney and Elizabeth Marie Layman.Born 2 May 1886 Wisconsin, died 31 Aug 1970 Janesville, Rock County, Wisconsin, age 84 years obit "The Janesville Gazette", Janesville, Wisc, Mon, Aug 31, 1970 Mrs Clarence Anderson (Katherine Rooney Bingham), 84, Rt 6, Janesville, died this morning at Caravilla after a five-year illness. The former Catherine Rooney was born May 2, 1886, in Northern Wisconsin and was married in Rockford Sept 7, 1907. Mr Anderson died Nov 22, 1967. Mrs Anderson had lived here more than 65 years and was a member of First Baptist Church. A son, Raymond, was killed in action in WWII. Surviving are a son, Howard E. Anderson, and two grandchildren.
