She was confirmed in the Catholic faith at St. Donatus Church in Brooten, MN. She was a member of the Brooten School drum and bugle corps until her graduation in 1950. She worked as a telephone operator for Thornburg Telephone Co., and for three years at Haywood Pharmacy of Belgrade. She married Donald Wesley Clark in 1954. Living south of Degraff, MN, they built a successful operation in dairy and grain farming. They moved to the family farm in Kerkhoven Township in 1957, and lived there until 2017. They were awarded the Swift Co. Soil Conservation District Outstanding Farmer Award in 1958 and 2001. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Council of Catholic Women, and an adult leader for Hayes Willing Workers 4-H. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; son, Kevin "Casey" Clark; and siblings.
