Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 11, 2013 at St. John Cantius Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Jesse J. Raden, age 27 of Waite Park who passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Reverend Matthew Crane will officiate. Burial will take place at St. Joseph's Parish Cemetery, Waite Park.



Jesse was born on May 22, 1985 in Longmont, Colorado to Joseph and Amy (Kalla) Raden. He was a 2004 graduate of St. Cloud Apollo High School. Jesse was currently employed at Cash Wise Foods through WACOSA. He was a member of St. John Cantius Parish.

Jesse is known for his "one liners" and he made his family and friends laugh. He loved NASCAR, Twins and the Vikes. Jesse was looking forward to a floor hockey tournament with his team the "St. Cloud Frost Bite" this coming weekend. He was proud of his accomplishments while working at WACOSA and enjoyed the company of his co-workers. Jesse often called friends and loved ones to wish them a "Happy Birthday" or just to check on them. His dream was to go to college and become a coach.

Jesse is survived by his dad, Joseph of Waite Park; brother, Noah (Ashley Laudenbach) and their son, Mason of St. Cloud; step-father, John Kline of Rice; grandmother, Lillian Raden of St. Cloud; grandfather, Harvey Kalla of Waite Park; special uncle, Michael Raden of Waite Park; step-grandmother, Alice Kline of St. Cloud and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Amy on October 17, 2012; grandfather, Lawrence "Bugs" Raden; grandmother, Mary Lou Kalla; and step-grandfather, Robert Kline.
