Dak., to Paul Lungren, of Monterey, Minn. The wedding took place at the home of the bride's parents in Casselton on June 24th in the presence of relatives and friends of the contracting parties. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Batterberry and has been connected with the public schools of Monterey. The groom, a son of Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Lungren, is well and favorably known in this city. He has been connected with the bank at Monterey for eleven years. The young couple are to make their home at Monterey. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, July 8, 1925) Eleanor Lungren Encinitas, Calif. – Long time Estherville resident Eleanor Lungren died December 30, 1995 in California, month after her 95th birthday. A memorial mass was celebrated at St. John's Church in Encinitas on Jan. 8, attended by her California relatives and friends. A memorial will be held for her at St. Patrick's Church in Estherville some time in late spring.
