Victor was a long time member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and loved sports, especially golf, and curling.

Victor Oswald Hayward passed away on August 22, 2010 in Cranbrook, BC, at age 82. He is survived by his wife, son, grandson and granddaughter.

A memorial tea in honour of Victor was held at McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook on Friday, August 27, 2010 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm. A private family Interment took place in Westlawn Cemetery.
