He was married to Kathryn W Pfeninger (1918-2013), the daughter of Alfred A Pfeninger and Katherine M Killeen. Enlisting in the US Marine Corps on 20 Mar 1942, he was released on 2 Oct 1945. He was Employed by Lamb Transportation Co, and as a professional truck driver he participated in the Statewide Truck Roadeo in Fresno, California on 1 Jul 1956. Married 10 Aug 1944 Los Angeles County, California, age 24 years (married 38 years) to: Kathryn Wilda Pfeninger, age by marriage 25 years, daughter of Alfred A Pfeninger and Katherine Margaret "Katie" Killeen. Since Blanche's obituary says she had 8 children, I'm missing at least two. Kathryn W Osendorf, age 94, passed away on February 14, 2013 in Long B each, California. She was born September 11, 1918 in Sedan, Minnesota , the daughter of Alfred A Pfeninger and Katherine M Killeen. She was married to Raymond Osendorf who preceded her in death in Septe mber 1982. A homemaker most of her life, Kathryn is survived by eight children; o ne sister; seventeen grandchildren; and thirty great-grandchildren. She was a loving and caring mother, sister, grandmother and friend. Sh e was a people person. She loved her family and friends very much; a l arge wall in the living room is filled with pictures of family and fri ends. She served many years as a member of the altar society at St Pan cratius Parish in Lakewood, California, and regularly visited the sic k and homebound bringing them Holy Communion. Visitation will be on Wednesday at 4:30pm at St Pancratius Catholic Ch urch, with Rosary at 5:15pm, followed by 6:00pm Mass. A reception wil l follow.
