Kathryn W Osendorf, age 94, passed away on February 14, 2013 in Long B each, California. She was born September 11, 1918 in Sedan, Minnesota , the daughter of Alfred A Pfeninger and Katherine M Killeen.

She was married to Raymond Osendorf who preceded her in death in Septe mber 1982.

A homemaker most of her life, Kathryn is survived by eight children; o ne sister; seventeen grandchildren; and thirty great-grandchildren.

She was a loving and caring mother, sister, grandmother and friend. Sh e was a people person. She loved her family and friends very much; a l arge wall in the living room is filled with pictures of family and fri ends. She served many years as a member of the altar society at St Pan cratius Parish in Lakewood, California, and regularly visited the sic k and homebound bringing them Holy Communion.

Visitation will be on Wednesday at 4:30pm at St Pancratius Catholic Ch urch, with Rosary at 5:15pm, followed by 6:00pm Mass. A reception wil l follow.

Interment will be on Thursday at 10:00am at All Souls Cemetery in Lon g Beach with her husband Raymond.

Robert "Bob" Pfeninger, age 85, died Saturday, October 4, 2008, at the Glacial Ridge Hospital in Glenwood. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, October 8, 2008, at St. Bartholomew' s Catholic Church in Villard. Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. Tues day, October 7th at the Hoplin-Hitchcock Funeral Home in Glenwood, with a rosary at 5:00 P.M. and Parish Prayers at 7:30 P.M. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Arrangements are with the Hoplin-Hitchcock Funeral Home in Glenwood.

Robert R. Pfeninger was born on a farm in Leven Township, the fifth child of Alfred and Katherine (Killeen) Pfeninger on February 16, 1923 . He grew up around and attended school in Villard. On September 5, 1955, Bob was united in marriage to AnnaMae Kleinschmidt. This marriage was blessed with three sons.

Bob farmed with his dad until the farm was sold in 1948 and it was then that he and his brother, Harold bought the trucking business from Rudy Massman. Harold sold his share of the business in 1979, to Bob's son Tom and the business continued until Bob sold his share to his son Jim, in 1988. Bob was an ambitious worker and helpful to all who needed assistance. He served for many years on the Villard City Council. He enjoyed dancing and playing cards with friends and neighbors. He wil l be remembered for his happy disposition - always kidding everyone.

Bob is survived by his wife of 53 years, AnnaMae Pfeninger of Villard; sons, Tom (Jan) Pfeninger, Jim (Sheila) Pfeninger both of Villard and Michael (Pam) of Cold Spring; seven grandchildren, Sara, Patrick, Leanne, Alicia, Tony, Eric, and Sam Pfeninger; three sisters, Kathryn Os endorf of Long Beach, CA, June Hinnenkamp of Melrose, and Lois Wenner of St. Cloud; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Katherine Pfeninger; siste r Blanche Osendorf; and brother, Harold Pfeninger. In Lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
