May 25, 2015 - Dorothy B. Fenske, 76, of Arlington, died Monday, May 25, 2015, at Oak Terrace Health Center in Gaylord. Mass of Christian Burial was at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Arlington. Visitation was from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 27 at the church. Interment was in Arlington Public Cemetery, Arlington. Fr. Keith Salisbury officiated the service.

Dorothy was born Dec. 1, 1938 in Padua, Minn., to Robert and Elizabeth (Majerus) Rooney. She attended country school in the Padua area and later graduated from Brooten High School. She moved to Gibbon at a young age to work and later met and married Ervin "Junior" Fenske Sept. 12, 1959, in Padua. She worked at an egg plant in Gibbon and later with Fingerhut in Gaylord, then as a custodian with Arlington School District and finally with Telex Communications in Glencoe.

She is survived by her siblings, Bernice (Bill) Zenzen of Elrosa, Theresa (Ed) Koenig of Sauk Centre, Rosie (Jim) Kollman of Brooten, Elaine (Earl) Zenzen of Belgrade, and David (Clara) Rooney of Padua. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin "Junior" Fenske; brother, Robert "Bob" Jr; and sister, Helen (Gene) Nagel.
