Mary Louise Johansen, age 66 of Bloomington passed away on September 11, 2019.

Mary was born April 18, 1953 in Syracuse, NY. She grew up in Pine River and graduated from Pine River High School in 1971 and attended Bemidji State and graduated 1975 with her Bachelors in Elementary Education. She married Jarl Johansen on October 29, 1977.

Mary loved what she did, working with children as the Director of Child Care. She never missed a Tuesday or Thursday Karaoke night at David Fong's. She was an avid card player.

Preceded into death by her husband, Jarl Johansen; and parents, Hilda & Lawrence Reed.

Grateful for having shared her life are her children, Jennifer (David ) Dean, Jordan (Jessica) Johansen-Moe; grandchildren, Isabella & Brendan Dean; sister, Margaret Schoenheider; brothers, Dennis Reed & Melvin Arnold.
