Funeral services will be held 1 PM Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-9 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Egan was born July 12, 1934 in Flint, the son of Edmond Anthony and Eleanor Mae (Duckworth) Egan. He married Joyce Baker on July 20, 1957 and she preceded him in death on June 29, 1999. Mr. Egan retired from General Motors in 1992 where he was a Tool and Die maker for 39.6 years. He had a wide variety of interests including history and genealogy. Surviving are: five children, John (Tonya) Egan of Otisville, Paul (Brooke) Egan of Davison, Maureen (Joey) Kline of Burton, Timothy Egan of Ionia, Shannon Egan (fiancé, John) of New Zealand; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four siblings, James (Wanda) Egan of Ortonville, Jean (Robert) Simpson of Flint, Richard (Debbie) Egan of Burton, Edmond (Beverly) Egan of Montrose. Patrick was born July 25, 1959 in Flint the son of John and Joyce (Baker) Egan. On April 28, 2009 he married Judy Hensley in Lapeer. Patrick was previously employed by Auto Zone and was a freelance mechanic. He loved his family, especially spending time with his wife and son. Surviving are his wife, Judy; son John N. Egan; step-children Kurtis, Melissa, Paige; father John Egan of Muir, MI; 5 siblings John T. Egan (Tonya) of Otisville, Paul Egan (Brooke) Of Davison, Maureen Kline (Joey) of Flint, Timothy Egan of Ionia, Shannon Egan-Stutts of Mt. Morris; mother-in-law Linda Haney of Harrison, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce and infant sister Kathleen.
