JAMES EGAN OBITUARY
Egan, James Edmund 1/17/1933 - 3/12/2017 EGAN, James Edmund age 84 of Ortonville, MI passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at The Pines of Goodrich. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 10AM-3PM. Funeral Services will be held at 3PM at Hill Funeral Home -11723 S. Saginaw St. Grand Blanc. Rev. Connie Lundy officiating. Final place of rest will be at Crestwood Cemetery in Grand Blanc, MI. James was born on January 17, 1933 in Flint, MI to the late Edmond A. and Eleanor M. (Duckworth) Egan. He served his country in the United States Army. James married Wanda L. Harris November 4, 1966. He worked as an electrician for 30 years for Pontiac Truck and Bus before retiring. James was a very calm and patient person. He was a man of few words but when he spoke people knew it was worth listening to. James was extremely family oriented and his grandchildren meant the world to him. He loved the outdoors. After retirement he loved taking long road trips, going to the casino, and taking his grandchildren to Cedar Point twice a year. Surviving are his children, Leanne C. (Dr. George) Moser, Diana K. Martus, Richard G. (Candace) Hoffman, Steven D. (Cindy) Hoffman, Yvonne (William) Doner, Julia C. (Mark) Schuette, and Crystal L. Hoffman-Harned; grandchildren, Diana L. Reynolds, Veronica L. Camargo, Alycia A. Minshall, Brianne L. Hoffman, Joshua E. Minshall, Marcus Schuette, Kyle Schuette, Stephanie L. Kalush, and Glen Hoffman; great-grandchildren, Katlyn Reynolds, Cohen Reynolds, Haley Camargo, Jacob Campanaro, Isabella Camargo, Bailey Kalush, Alex Terryah, and Skylar Schuette; sister, Jeanne Simpson; brothers, Richard Egan and Edmond Egan. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Wanda L. EGAN, John Anthony - age 80, of Ionia, went to be with his wife, on their 57 wedding anniversary Sunday, July 20, 2014. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-9 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Egan was born July 12, 1934 in Flint, the son of Edmond Anthony and Eleanor Mae (Duckworth) Egan. He married Joyce Baker on July 20, 1957 and she preceded him in death on June 29, 1999. Mr. Egan retired from General Motors in 1992 where he was a Tool and Die maker for 39.6 years. He had a wide variety of interests including history and genealogy. Surviving are: five children, John (Tonya) Egan of Otisville, Paul (Brooke) Egan of Davison, Maureen (Joey) Kline of Burton, Timothy Egan of Ionia, Shannon Egan (fiancé, John) of New Zealand; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four siblings, James (Wanda) Egan of Ortonville, Jean (Robert) Simpson of Flint, Richard (Debbie) Egan of Burton, Edmond (Beverly) Egan of Montrose. Ann Hardin age 76 of Flint, died Saturday, September 8th. Funeral Services will be held at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Burial will follow in Crestwood Cemetery.

Ann was born June 21, 1936 in Flint, MI to Edmond and Eleanor Egan.
She married Robert Lee Hardin on June 26, 1954 in Flint.
After retiring from AC she took active ownership of OHS Supply in Flint.

Ann was a retired member of UAW Local 651 having retired from AC Spark Plug in Flint.

Ann loved traveling with her husband and spending time working around her yard.

Surviving are: her sons, Anthony (Ellen), Terry, and Robert (Tamera) ; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; her siblings, James, John, Richard, Edmond Egan and Jean Simpson.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lee Hardin and her siblings: Janet, Robert, Michael and Francis.
