Margaret was a graduate of the College of St Catherine's in St. Paul. She was active in the Glendale, CA Junior Chamber Auxiliary and the Music Mobile Program of the Glendale Chapter of the Los Angeles Junior Philharmonic. She was one of the founding directors of the Glendale Youth Orchestra. Margaret died of Lou Gehrig's Disease. The funeral was at St Bede's Church, La Canada Flintridge, California.
