WILLIAM D. "BILL" CHAMBERLAIN
William D. "Bill" Chamberlain, 73, died peacefully at home on Wednesda y Dec. 3, 2014, surrounded by family.
Bill was born Oct. 15, 1941 in Hibbing, Minn., to Gerald "Dan" and Mar garet "Muggs" Chamberlain, of Bovey, Minn.
He graduated from Greenway High School in Coleraine, Minn., in 1959. B ill married Merrie Jo Cann on June 26, 1965 in Hibbing, Minn.
Bill was proudly employed for the last 33 years with the Trane Corpora tion, serving as a training engineer for the last 18 years in LaCrosse , Wis.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents Dan and Muggs; his brother C urt and close Uncle James "Bud" Ryser.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Merrie Jo of LaCrosse ; children Sheryl (Mark) Havermann, of Omaha, Neb., Shannon (Brad) Kub asta of Hudson, Wis., and Jerald (Juliaette) Chamberlain of Springfiel d, Mo.; grandchildren Aleigha, Kielynn, Brielle, William, Jack, and Cy ; Special niece and nephew Krista (Rob) Sjostrand and Scott (Jacque) C hamberlain both of Grand Rapids, Minn.; Bill is also survived by man y extended family including aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters-in law , and numerous nieces, and nephews.
SERVICE: 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014 in Christ Episcopal Church i n La Crosse, Wis. Friends and family may call from 1:30 p.m. until tim e of service.
In lieu of flowers, donations to JDRF or Christ Church of LaCrosse ar e preferred.
