Stephen Janowicz, 57, of Seattle died January 10, 2001 in an area hosp ital. He was born on April 1, 1943 in Poland.

Stephen immigrated with his family in 1949 during WWII. His parents ca rried him across Europe, escaping from the communists. Stephen enjoye d 8 years of his childhood in Eureka, MT, before moving to Seattle i n 1958.

Stephen loved to square and round dance 3-4 nights per week with the C heckerboard Squares. This is where he met his good friend Bonnie Stuck le who was his dancing partner. When not dancing, Steven loved to pla y and win cribbage.

Stephen is survived by his significant other, Bonnie Stuckle; parents , Max and Olga; son, Mike (Laura); daughter, Darcy (John); brothers, T ed (Carol), Larry (Cheryl); grandchildren, Allison and Max; and lifelo ng friend Bill Bohag.

Viewing will be held on Friday, January 12, 2001 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m . at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills, Lynnwood.

Graveside Service will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jay Zaremba offic iating. Following the service, everyone is invited to a potluck recept ion at The Hayloft, 15320 35th Ave W, Lynnwood.
